Ferro Mn

Standard ferromanganese, also known as high carbon ferromanganese (HC FeMn), is a manganese alloy that is directly smelted from manganese ore. It has a manganese content of 70-80 wt% and a carbon content of 6-7 wt%. In terms of quantity, it is the most used ferroalloy, its application is mainly in steel production (90%), with the remaining 10% used in casting and welding.

Ferro Silico Manganese

Ferromanganese alloys are produced by carbothermal reduction of ores containing iron and manganese oxide in a smelting reduction furnace. During the production process, a slag with a high content of manganese oxide is formed, which can be refined in further process steps into ferrosilicon, low carbon ferromanganese (LC FeMn) or metallic manganese.

       Carbon = 6.98%
       Silicon = 0.060%
       Phosphorus = 0.059%
       Sulfur = 0.006%
       Iron = ~ 17 – 18%

Ferro Manganese Price

Ferromanganese is used in steel production as a degassing, deoxidizing, and desulfurizing agent to remove nitrogen and other harmful elements found during iron smelting. Used in the manufacture of steel and, to a lesser extent, other metal alloys. The powder can be used in the welding industry.
