Silicon Slag
Silicon Slag is by-product when making silicon metal,it's content is from 45% to 95%,and the rest are C,S,P,Al,Fe,Ca. It is much cheaper than purity silicon metal, and has many industrial applications.

Stainless steel manufacturers use it as a reducing agent during the electric furnace refining process to enhance efficiency and output.
Application of ferro silicon slag
Ferro silicon slag can be widely used in various fields due to the special properties of its components. Here are some main applications:
Ferrosilicon slag can be used as raw material for the production of cement, concrete and other building materials. During the mixing process of ferrosilicate slag and limestone, a large amount of SiO2 minerals can be produced and form calcium silicate cement, which is both economical and environmentally friendly.
Ferrosilicon slag can be made into various filling materials and used in construction fields such as railway roadbeds, port terminals, and urban roads. The high strength, large friction coefficient and durability of ferrosilicon slag make it an ideal filling material.
Ferrosilicon slag can be used for desulfurization, deoxidation and other reactions in the steel smelting process. Ferrosilicon slag can reduce iron oxide into FeO at high temperatures, thereby reducing oxidized substances in steel and improving the quality of steel.
The high alkalinity and foaming properties of ferrosilicon slag make it an effective sewage treatment agent. Ferrosilicon slag can be used to adjust acidic water to make it neutral or alkaline.
Ferrosilicon slag can also be made into base material and used in the field of casting production. Ferrosilicon slag can not only reduce surface defects of castings, but also improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of castings.
Color: Quality Silicon Slag can be quickly identified by its color. Higher silicon content typically results in a greener hue, while lower content may appear gray. Silicon Slag with silicon content between 50% to 90% tends to be black. Evaluating color provides a rapid means to select high-quality Silicon Slag.
