There are two main methods for smelting silicon-barium alloy:
One-step smelting method: add barite (a mineral containing barium), silica, coke, steel scraps, silicon carbide and other materials to the ore-fired furnace for smelting.
Two-step smelting method: first use the ore-fired furnace to smelt ferrosilicon, then add the ferrosilicon and barium-containing raw materials to the medium frequency furnace for smelting and refining to obtain silicon-barium alloy.
