Vanadium-nitrogen alloy is a new alloy additive that can replace ferrovanadium for the production of microalloyed steel. The addition of vanadium nitride to steel can improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of the steel such as strength, toughness, ductility and thermal fatigue resistance, and make the steel have good weldability.The key process equipment is a continuous atmosphere push-plate high-temperature furnace, which uses electric heating elements such as silicon-molybdenum rods to obtain heat sources.

Vanadium-nitrogen alloy replaces ferrovanadium for vanadium alloying, which can significantly improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of steel such as strength, toughness, ductility and thermal fatigue resistance, and make the steel have good weldability.To achieve the same strength, adding vanadium nitride saves 30-40% of the vanadium addition, thereby reducing costs.

Vanadium-nitrogen alloy is a blank made of vanadium pentoxide, carbon powder, activator and other raw materials. Under normal pressure and nitrogen atmosphere protection, it reacts at a high temperature of 1500 to 1800°C to form a vanadium-nitrogen alloy.
