High-Strength FeV60 Alloy For Wear-Resistant Steel

FeV60 Alloy is a high-vanadium ferroalloy containing approximately 60% vanadium, designed for manufacturing high-strength, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant steels. Its excellent refining capacity and uniform diffusion during alloying make it ideal for producing tool steel, spring steel, and low-alloy structural materials.

Product Introduction

Metallurgical Features and Industrial Role of Vanadium–Iron Alloy 60

Vanadium–Iron Alloy 60 is produced through aluminothermic or silicon thermal reduction of vanadium pentoxide under precise control.
The addition of this alloy refines steel grain size, improves hardenability, and increases strength while maintaining elasticity.
When combined with chromium or manganese, FeV60 further raises the elastic limit of spring steels, ensuring better performance and durability.
In tool steels, it refines the microstructure, enhances secondary hardening, and significantly extends the life span of cutting tools.
