Molybdenum crucible is an indispensable material in the rare earth smelting industry. Rare earth metal smelting is mostly carried out under high temperature and unprotected atmosphere. The electrolysis process must use refractory metal materials, such as tungsten as electrode rods and molybdenum as crucible. Rare earth metal metallurgy first mixes molybdenum powder and tungsten powder with rare earth metal oxides. After pressing and machining, a molybdenum crucible blank is formed. Then it is sintered at high temperature to form a molybdenum crucible and the rare earth metal is extracted.
