Classification of industrial silicon
According to the industrial silicon standard, industrial silicon is divided into Si5530, Si4410, Si4210, Si3303, Si2202 and other specifications according to the difference in the content of three main impurities (iron, aluminum, and calcium). The nominal silicon content of industrial silicon is 100.0% minus the remainder of the total impurities. The content of other trace elements not listed in the table does not affect the classification of grades.

Production process of industrial silicon
Industrial silicon smelting is an electrothermal chemical reaction process that is carried out continuously in an ore-fired furnace using silica and carbonaceous reducing agents (petroleum coke, washed coal, charcoal, etc.) and loosening agents (wood chips, wood blocks, corn cobs, pine nut balls, coconut shells, etc.) as raw materials.
