Production Process Of Spinning Tungsten Crucible
First, the tungsten sintered billet is prepared using powder metallurgy. The tungsten sintered billet is hot-rolled into a thin plate with a designed thickness through a hot rolling process. The thin plate is processed into a disc shape and then placed on a hot spinning machine. The tungsten plate and mold remain concentric. After multiple spins, the shape of the tungsten plate changes to a crucible shape, and the wall thickness of the tungsten plate becomes thinner and close to the mold. After cooling, a spinning tungsten crucible is obtained.

During spinning, a mixed flame of hydrogen and compressed air is used for heating. The heating temperature is about 1000°C, and the wall thickness reduction in each pass is controlled to about 0.5mm. In order to prevent cracking during spinning, when the processing rate reaches 50% to 70%, annealing treatment with hydrogen gas insulation at 1000-1100°C for 1 hour is generally used to eliminate internal stress and increase plasticity for further spinning.
