ZhenAn Low Carbon Ferromanganese Manufacturer
There are two main methods for processing low carbon ferromanganese: blast furnace method and electric furnace method. The blast furnace method is smelted in a high-temperature blast furnace and mainly smelts manganese from low-carbon ferromanganese. Generally, it is qualified when the manganese content reaches 45-65%. The electric furnace method uses electric energy to convert into heat energy to smelt ferromanganese, iron ore and other raw materials into low carbon ferromanganese.
Both methods require pretreatment of raw materials, such as crushing, grinding, magnetic separation and other steps to remove impurities and improve the quality of ferromanganese.

Characteristics of low carbon ferromanganese:
1. Low carbon content
The carbon content of low-carbon ferromanganese is generally below 1.0%, and some brands can even achieve below 0.4%. Lower carbon content makes the alloy purer, reduces impurities in the steel, and improves the material's mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

Characteristics Of Low Carbon Ferromanganese
2. High manganese content
The manganese content of low carbon ferromanganese is generally between 65-90%, and manganese is the main alloying element in the alloy. Manganese has good corrosion resistance and heat resistance, can improve the hardness and toughness of the alloy, and increase the wear resistance and heat resistance. The high manganese content makes low carbon ferromanganese an ideal alloy material.
3. Good heat resistance
Low carbon ferromanganese has better heat resistance due to its higher manganese content. It can maintain good mechanical and physical properties in high temperature environments, is not easy to melt and deform, and is suitable for applications under high temperature working conditions.
