‌Chemical Properties‌: Vanadium pentoxide is a strong oxidizing agent that can react with many substances. It will decompose into vanadium oxide and oxygen at high temperatures, volatilize significantly above 700°C, and decompose into oxygen and vanadium tetroxide between 700 and 1125°C. It is slightly soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, but soluble in strong acids and alkalis.
