Wet extraction:
Dissolve trivalent alum in water with a reducing agent (such as lead powder, carbon, hydrogen, etc.), generate a solution, and then filter, evaporate, concentrate and crystallize to obtain vanadium pentoxide.
Another wet process involves acid leaching and alkali dissolution, which uses acid to leach vanadium from vanadium-containing solid waste, and then obtains vanadium pentoxide through steps such as adding alkali neutralization, oxidation, and precipitation.
Dry extraction:
Use air at high temperature to oxidize V3+ ions, and the generated VO2 gas flow enters the condenser and is rapidly cooled to form a solid vanadium pentoxide product.
