Flake vanadium, usually refers to flake vanadium pentoxide (V2O5), is an inorganic metal oxide with a gray-black flake morphology.
Flake vanadium has a high melting point and a high boiling point, is soluble in acid and alkali, slightly soluble in water, and insoluble in alcohol.
It has a wide range of applications in metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries, mainly used for smelting ferrovanadium and producing other alloy materials.
In the steel industry, flake vanadium can improve the strength, toughness and wear resistance of steel by refining the structure and grain of steel. In addition, flake vanadium is also widely used in many fields such as petrochemicals, rubber, enamel, aerospace, batteries, pigments, glass, optics, paint, electronics, medicine, etc.
