What are the defects of refractory bricks?
Under-burning is a problem caused by insufficient firing temperature. The lower sintering temperature result in insufficient heat preservation time or leakage of cold wind. These kind of products have low mechanical strength, loose combination, low sound when struck, our QC worker will never let that kind of bricks out of the workshop.

Over-firing is a problem caused by higher firing temperature, or longer time, or direct contact with the flame. In general, overfired bricks have high mechanical strength, low apparent porosity, severe porcelain, harsh sound when struck, and poor thermal shock resistance.
