Molybdenum plates usually have a thickness of 2-30 mm, are manufactured by different types of rolling mills, and are called molybdenum strips when provided in coils. They can also be further divided into different types according to thickness:

Foil: thickness 0.025-0.09mm, width 30-100mm, length 200mm.
Sheet: thickness 0.09-0.5mm, width 30-600mm, length 30-2700mm.
Plate: thickness 0.5-10mm, width 50-680mm, length greater than 50-2500mm.
