What is the difference between niobium crucible and tantalum crucible?

There are some differences between niobium crucible and tantalum crucible.
Tantalum has a higher melting point (3017°C) than niobium. Tantalum also shows better corrosion resistance in some extremely harsh chemical environments, especially in high-temperature concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid.
However, niobium crucibles are more cost-effective. In terms of mechanical properties, both have good ductility, but in some cases, niobium may have a slightly lower hardness.
