Standard Specification
SiC 70 is a cost-controlled silicon carbide grade used in ordinary steelmaking, gray iron casting and basic slag reduction.
It contains SiC 70% min and F.C. 18–22%, with controlled sulfur, phosphorus, moisture and particle size. Compared with higher grades such as SiC 75 or SiC 85, silicon carbide 70 is more suitable when the furnace does not require high SiC purity but still needs useful deoxidation and reduction performance.

Moisture and Packing Control
Moisture control is important for SiC 70. Wet material reduces effective charging weight and may cause unstable reaction when added into high-temperature zones.
ZhenAn controls moisture at H₂O 0.5% max. Standard export packing is 1MT jumbo bag. For humid ports, rainy-season shipment or long-distance delivery, moisture-proof inner liners can be arranged.
