Use:

Used as a deoxidizer and alloying agent in the steelmaking industry.

Used as an inoculant and spheroidizing agent in the cast iron industry. Adding a certain amount of ferrosilicon in the cast iron process can prevent the formation of carbides in iron and promote the precipitation and spheroidization of graphite.

75# ferrosilicon is the main raw material for the production of magnesium metal, with a ton consumption of about 1.1 tons.

Ferrosilicon powder that has been ground or atomized can be used as a suspension phase in the mineral processing industry and as a coating for welding rods in the welding rod manufacturing industry.
