2. There must be a suitable MgO/Al2o3 ratio. Because it will affect the conductivity and reducing performance of the slag, and will also affect the alloy's carbon content. In actual production, if the MgO/Al2o3 ratio is low, you need to add enough water to increase the thickness of the coke layer. On the one hand, It is to protect the bottom of the furnace from damage. On the one hand, it is to increase the residence time of unreduced ore cores.
3. Have suitable block matching. When powdered ore is used alone, it will cause the sintering of the divided ore, which will worsen the air permeability of the material surface and seriously damage the smelting atmosphere. Large lumps will also cause the carbon content of the alloy to be low.

4. Suitable melting properties. Simply using easily meltable chromite will cause premature slag appearance. If the melting speed is faster than the reduction speed, chromium will easily escape from the slag, making smelting more difficult.
