The requirements for raw materials are as follows:
(1) Molybdenum roasting requires S<0.10%, Cu<0.6%, and Pb<0.5%. The actual ingredients are: Mo48.5%~52%, S0.04%~0.07%, P0.01%~0.02%, Cu0.1%~0.5%, Pb0.2%~0.5%, FeO3%~5%, SiO28%~14%, CaO2%~4.5%. 5% to 10% of the total molybdenum is in the form of MoO2, which should be considered when calculating the reaction heat. The particle size is <15mm, of which >10mm accounts for less than 10%, and <2mm accounts for about 60%. (2) Ferrosilicon powder contains Si75%~77%; the particle size is <1mm.

(3) Aluminum particles contain Al>90% and Cu<0.1%; the particle size is <3mm, and the part <0.5mm shall not exceed 30%.
(4) Iron ore contains Fe>65%, S<0.05%, P<0.05%, C<0.30%; particle size<1mm. Iron oxide scale or iron concentrate can be used instead.
(5) The steel scraps are ordinary carbon steel scraps, and the curl length is <50mm.
(6) Fluorite contains CaF2>90%. Particle size <3mm.

(7) Saltpeter contains NaNO3>90%. All raw materials must be thoroughly dried and must not contain moisture to avoid splashing and accidents during the smelting process. The raw materials are accurately weighed according to the calculated proportion, put into the mixer and mixed evenly, then put into the smelting furnace, and smelted using the upper ignition method.
