ferro silicon alloy
1. Arc sound
During the smelting process of the electric furnace, if the sound of the arc is loud, it means that the electrode is inserted too shallowly into the charge. Generally speaking, if the electrode insertion depth exceeds 800 mm, the arc noise will be smaller.

2. Material collapse and fire ignition
Under normal batching conditions, if material collapse and "flare" occur frequently, it means that the electrode is inserted into the charge too shallowly.

3. Crucible area size
Under normal batching ratio, if the charge drops slowly, it means that the electrode is inserted shallowly. Because the electrode is inserted shallowly, the high-temperature area moves upward and the heat loss is large, so the crucible area is smaller.
