With the increase of the working temperature, the thermal conductivity of the silicon brick will increase, and the volume of the silicon brick will increase with the increase of the temperature in the oven process. Therefore, silicon brick is the ideal refractory products on the coke oven, and many important parts of the combustion chamber, ramp and regenerator chamber of large and medium-sized coke ovens will be built with silicon brick.

The true density can determine the thermal stability of silicon brick. The smaller the true density of the silicon brick, the more complete the lime conversion, and the smaller residual expansion will occur during the oven process.
