Pure nickel material
◆Features
Pure nickel is a silver-white metal with a density of 8.9g/cm3 and a melting point of 1453°C. It has excellent corrosion resistance because the surface is oxidized at room temperature to form a dense and strong protective film; pure nickel has excellent welding performance and processing performance, and can be processed into products such as tubes, rods, wire sheets, strips, and foils.
Pure nickel materials have good corrosion resistance in NaOH solutions of any concentration and temperature and molten NaOH above 400°C. Pure nickel materials have good corrosion resistance to Na2O2, Na2CO3, NaHCO3 and alkaline solutions or molten liquids containing KNO3.
