The Operating Temperature Range Of Commonly Used Firebricks

The operating temperature range of commonly used firebricks

Refractory bricks of common clay heat shock well, used for general kiln lining. The operating temperature is about 1250℃. If it is a low gas clay brick, it can be used in glass kilns and some special kiln linings. The operating temperature is above 1350℃. If andalusite or cordierite is added to clay firebrick, the use temperature is above 1400℃.

The operating temperature range of commonly used firebricks

If it is a light clay firebrick series, the temperature used in the insulation area is in the range of 1000-1200℃.

High-aluminum refractory brick is used in the high-temperature zone of the lining of the kiln, and the use area is in the range of 1300-1400℃. If it exceeds 1400 ° C, it is necessary to use high-alumina refractory brick or corundum brick to resist spalling. The high-aluminum refractory brick used in the burner part should be mullite refractory brick or corundum mullite refractory brick, and the use temperature is 1300 ~ 1600℃. That is, it is resistant to high temperature, wear resistance, fatigue resistance and flexibility.
