The deformation amount of each pass in the medical titanium wire drawing process is limited by the safety factor. When the deformation amount is small, there are more drawing passes. Therefore, multi-pass continuous high-speed drawing is often used in the production of titanium wire.
Drawing below the recrystallization temperature is cold drawing, drawing above the recrystallization temperature is hot drawing, and drawing above room temperature and below the recrystallization temperature is warm drawing. In metal wire production, cold drawing is a widely used drawing method. During hot drawing, the titanium wire is heated before entering the die hole. It is mainly used for drawing high melting point metals such as tungsten, molybdenum and other titanium wires.

Pure Titanium Wire
During the heating process, the titanium wire also needs to be heated to a certain temperature range by the heater before it can enter the die hole for drawing. It is mainly used for drawing zinc wire and difficult-to-deform alloy wires such as high-speed steel wire and bearing steel wire.
During the drawing process, it is single-pass drawing only when one mold is drawn, and continuous drawing is performed on several (2~25) passes of continuous drawing. The single-pass drawing line speed is low, the productivity is low, and the labor productivity is low. It is often used for drawing large wires, low plasticity and special-shaped wires, and wire rods.

Pure Titanium alloy Wire
Multi-pass drawing, high line speed, high degree of mechanization and automation, and high production efficiency are the main methods for titanium wire and wire production. The drawing machine can be divided into non-sliding continuous drawing and sliding continuous drawing. According to the lubrication state, liquid lubricant is used for wet drawing, and solid lubricant is used for dry drawing. According to the tensile cross-section shape of titanium wire, it can be divided into two types: round and special-shaped wire. The tensile force exerted on the tensile titanium wire is divided into positive tensile force and reverse tensile force. There are also special drawings, such as roller die drawing. It is a plastic processing technology for producing small-section steel wire or non-ferrous metal wire. Under the action of drawing force, the wire rod or wire blank is pulled out from the die hole of the drawing die.
