It can replace ferrosilicon, silicon carbide and carburizer, reduce the amount of deoxidizer, and is used in the deoxidation and alloying process of converter smelting. It can also be used in general steel, alloy steel and special steel. High-carbon ferrosilicon can also be used as a temperature-raising agent to replace the traditional temperature-raising agent used in converter and open-hearth steelmaking.
