What Is Clay Brick? What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Clay Bricks?
Classification of clay bricks:
1. Ordinary clay brick: a general term for clay refractory materials with regular shape. The main chemical composition is alumina and silicon dioxide, but also contains ferric oxide, calcium oxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, titanium dioxide and so on. It is divided into ordinary clay brick, multi-clinker clay brick, raw clay brick, high silica clay brick and so on.

2. Advanced clay brick: clay refractory brick with a refractoriness of not less than 1699℃. There are three kinds of ordinary, crack resistant and slag corrosion resistant.
3. Standard brick: Standard brick is the most commonly used brick in construction projects, it is widely used in brick load-bearing walls, but also for non-load-bearing filled walls. The size of the clay brick is 240mm× 115mm × 53mm. Each brick weighs about 2.5Kg when dry and about 3Kg after water absorption.
4. Hollow brick and porous brick: the specification of hollow brick is 190 mm×190 mm×90 mm, and the weight is about 1100 Kg per cubic meter. The porous brick has a specification of 240 mm×115 mm×90 mm and weighs about 1400 Kg per cubic meter.
