The use of refractory materials in the high temperature zone of the tunnel kiln should be consistent with the mild operating characteristics of the kiln and consistent with the fired products.
Use refractory clay bricks at temperatures below 1300°C
High alumina bricks are used at 1300℃-1400℃.
Use silica bricks at 1400℃-1500℃.
Magnesia-alumina bricks are used at 1500℃-1600℃.
Use corundum bricks below 1800℃.
Characteristics of high alumina bricks used in the high temperature zone of tunnel kilns:
1. Good thermal stability.
2. High refractoriness and load softening temperature;
3. Divided into standard shape, common special shape, special shape and special shape bricks.
