Iron Silicon Alloy

       

The chemical composition of ferrosilicon mainly includes silicon and iron, of which the content of silicon is generally above 75%, and the rest is iron and a small amount of impurities. According to the different silicon content, ferrosilicon can be divided into high ferrosilicon (Si275%) and low ferrosilicon (Sis50%).
In addition to silicon and iron, ferrosilicon also contains a small amount of impurities such as carbon, phosphorus, and sulfur, which will affect the performance and application of ferrosilicon.

 

 

The production process of ferrosilicon can be divided into four stages: charge preparation, electric furnace smelting, isothermal constant temperature, and ladle casting. Among them, the charge preparation stage involves the selection and proportion of ferrosilicon and other raw materials; the electric furnace smelting stage is to put the charge into the electric furnace for smelting to obtain the required ferrosilicon; the isothermal constant temperature stage is to ensure the quality of ferrosilicon, and it is placed in an isothermal room for constant temperature treatment; the ladle casting stage is to cast the ferrosilicon into the required shape.
