Comparison Between First-level High Alumina Bricks And Second-level High Alumina Bricks

Products Description

First-grade high alumina brick is a neutral refractory material with an alumina content of not less than 75%. It is formed and calcined from alumina or other raw materials with high alumina content. It has good thermal stability and refractoriness above 1770 ℃. It has good slag resistance and is mainly used for lining blast furnaces, hot blast furnaces, electric furnace tops, blast furnaces, reverberatory furnaces and rotary kilns.

In addition, high alumina bricks are also widely used as open-hearth regenerative checker bricks, plugs for pouring systems, nozzle bricks, etc. Physical and chemical properties of general high alumina bricks (i.e. T-head bricks), special-shaped high alumina bricks and blast furnace bricks

Comparison Between First-level High Alumina Bricks And Second-level High Alumina Bricks

1. Compressive strength: According to customer comparisons, first-level high alumina bricks are generally 10~15 MPa higher than second-level high alumina bricks at the same weight and same aluminum content.
