Refractory bricks can be called clay bricks based on a content of less than 55, a neutral refractory material made from bauxite or other materials with a high alumina content. High alumina bricks are mainly used for lining of blast furnace, hot blast furnace, electric furnace roof, blast furnace, reflector furnace and rotary kiln. In addition, high alumina bricks are also widely used as heat storage lattice bricks for flat furnaces, pouring system plugs, water spout bricks and so on.
High alumina bricks and clay bricks are not only different in alumina content, and the production process is similar, but the clinker mix is high, up to 90-95%, firing temperature is much higher than clay bricks. Far higher than clay bricks. In the practical test, one or two high alumina bricks are mostly used in tunnel kilns, blast furnaces, furnace tops, reflector furnaces, rotary kiln linings and other kilns with a temperature of 1500-1600℃.
The production process of high alumina bricks is similar to that of multi-clinker clay bricks. The difference is that the share of clinker in the allocation is higher, up to 90-95%. Clinker needs to be graded, classified, screened and de-ironed before crushing, and the firing temperature is higher. High alumina bricks are generally 1500~1600℃ when fired in tunnel kiln. Production practice has proved that high alumina clinker can improve product quality by strictly selecting and grading before crushing, grading and storing, and selecting earth ore clinker and clay fine grinding method.
